Intuitive Painting

Intuitive painting is not a workshop about technique, composition, or learning how to paint something “beautiful”. It is a practice of attunement.

We begin with stillness, breath, and meditation—not to think of something to create, but to soften the thinking mind. From there, you bring that sense of calm and presence to the canvas.

You paint without pressure to perform and without a predetermined outcome. Colour, movement, and form are allowed to emerge from your body, your intuition, and whatever presents itself in the moment. Nothing has to be perfect. You do not need to know where the process is leading. The process itself shows the way.

The canvas becomes a reflection of your inner landscape. What emerges comes not only from the mind, but from a deeper place of feeling, knowing, and trust.

At the end of the workshop, you will take home a work of art that can hang in your space while also reminding you of that state of being: less control, more surrender. Less thinking, more flow.

Visual Arts Studio

Intuitive creation requires surrender, but sometimes that surrender only becomes possible when you have greater confidence in your hands.

When you understand how to construct a face, how light and shadow work, how to recognise proportions, how colour behaves, or how to build a stronger composition, you gain greater freedom.

Alongside intuitive painting workshops, I therefore offer technical workshops for those who want to develop their skills in portrait drawing, portrait painting, or illustration. The focus here is less on letting go and more on learning to observe, understand, and practise.

We work with fundamental skills such as composition, proportion, line, form, light, shadow, colour, expression, and the use of materials. The aim is not to restrict your creativity with rules, but to give you a stronger foundation. Technique becomes not a limitation, but a language through which you can express yourself more freely.

These workshops are suitable for anyone who wants to improve their drawing or painting skills, as well as for those who eventually want to work more intuitively and with greater confidence.

The better you know your instrument, the easier it becomes to let go of overthinking. You no longer need to search for how something “should” be done, but can move more naturally into flow through the skills you have developed.

For those who want to strengthen their technical abilities so that creativity has more room to unfold.
